LOVE the dog, the photo, the title! But the dog's owner needs a shakeup or a wakeup call. Probably checking his/her messages on the cell undoubtedly... Let's dognap the hound while he/she is reading that cell!
I love that dogs can go everywhere in Vienna. The hard part for me is holding back and not running up to pet every one that I see. Great post, Merisi!!
je remarque le regard du petit chiwawa ! j'en garde une en ce moment chez moi pendant que sa maitresse est partie: elle se nomme "Chipie" et elle est sage et douce ... bonne soirée christyn
Vreni, I always feel sorry for big dogs in the city. This one seems just the right size for a city place.
Ela, :-)
Paris Breakfasts, the dog was so well-behaved, so civilized, he looked as if he could handle any situation. ;-)
Sushi, *smile*
Mary, I once encountered a giant black labrador at a coffee house, sprawled between two tables and the waiters had to step over him. They did it with nonchalance and full trays. ;-)
I still smile when I think of how long I waited for the owner to bend down and the dog to look at me.
One of the sides of Vienna that I love, dogs are allowed anywhere except grocery stores and the like. One of my first memories of Vienna is a huge black labrador retriever sprawled in between tables at Cafe' Landtmann, and the only way to enter the place was to step over the dog. I remember also the thick blue cloud of smoke drifting in there. Thank goodness, its owner declared his cafes smokefree a long time ago now. Kudos to him!
Your wait was totally worth it to get that impish expression on the pooch. It is as if you exchanged glances and he is saying, "I know what you are doing." Love it!
He´s cute! It´s funny that he has a male owner...
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! :-) ela

ReplyDeleteToo cute Merisi. Our German Shepherd goes just about everywhere with us, but I am thinking she would do better on the floor;)
