Oh I never heard them called Willow Catkins before, I like that and I would enjoy a bouquet, in fact, I would enjoy a whole tree, and I should take a cupcake as well;)
The detail on the window (turquoise and gold decorations) is stunning. The little, "chinese food take out", box for a single cupcake - again stunning attention to detail. I don't think the devil is in the details. I think beauty and happiness is in the details :-).
Mary Howell Cromer, may be a result of my mongrel language history. At times I translate something from another language without being really aware of, until it is too late. Weidenkätzchen, willow pussy cats, may have played a role in that one. ;-)
Thank you, Mary! :-)
Zosia, beauty IS in the details, I could not agree more! :-)
Eugenia, thank you, made me happy to capture it! ;-)
Paris Breakfasts: Carol, for some time now! :-)

Have you already been to the new cupcakes shop?
ReplyDeleteWhat a marvelous doorway! I want to stand inside there and watch the shadows slide away with the sun.
ReplyDeleteVreni,
ReplyDeleteI walked in yesterday and got a cupcake for my daughter, but had no time to linger. They now have savory ones too!
Sara,
I love moments like that, a glimpse of an interior world usually closed off from the outside.

Willow Catkins, what a delightful name, had never heard them called that before. These are so sweet, each one~
ReplyDeleteMary,
Deletedo you know them as pussy willow?
Lovely to have the light back, isn't it? We, on the other hand, have had light snow for two days...
ReplyDeleteBlogger has been okay for me.
I had been cooped up in the house, for over a week, and took a walk near the Danube today. I think I caught a bit too much sun. ;-)
DeleteSeeing "Willow Catkins" gives me faith that spring isn't too far off.
ReplyDeleteWillow Catkins are such a welcome sight, after a long dark winter!
