  4. Merisi, after experiencing this week's days at the shop, and knowing that we still have a couple more to go, it's such a glorious relieve to click over here to the very beautiful views you give us of Vienna.

The light in all your photographs is sublime.

The cookies in that Spode cup would not stay there long if I were nearby. All this week and last week, I've been doing marathon cookie baking sessions in my free time. All those baked cookies are going to others.

Shop window aside. The Moncler shop near our shop has two windows and each of them echos what your photo shows. It's amusing to see their snowy iciness while our New York temperature seems to hover way above normal.

    Joy to you, Merisi! xo

  5. There are so many handsome men in India, I need to find some mistletoe to wear in my hair. I'm having a feast on all the sweets the ladies are making in my village...nothing like the delectable pastries you show us but delicious guava candy, things made with fresh coconut that I pull from the tree - of course, washed down with fragrant cups of chai.

    Merry Christmas, dear Merisi.
