Ahhhh -- see? That fourth picture -- see. You make me want to be a part of that conversation there. Visiting your site is like a trip to a place I want to be. Always!
Love the light. Love the flowers. Love the coffee. Love the colours, either pale or loud. Love the reflections. Love the flowers arrangement. Love the food arrangement. Love the cup and saucer arrangement.
BUT I HATE BAMBOOS !!! ARGH !!! Our neighbours' bamboos have been such a pain in our necks for years !!! To me they do not symbolize the zen/serene attitude at all ! Hate bamboos.
Our last Sunday lunch wasn't fancy or "proper" like this delightful one, but it was still family and that's what made it good. We all bought our own sandwiches at a store and came home to our house and ate in the backyard. The weather was perfect and everyone just sat and talked and laughed a lot. Perfect Day to me...
I think that my previous comment was mistaken, have to add this :
our next-door neighbour grows bamboos in his garden. They look nice but their roots are NOT upright, they go sideways... and the shoots are terrible, they creep underground far and fast !!! They can grow through tree roots and trunks, they can push through anything (even cement)... Cutting them or pulling them out do not help, there they are, spreading on and on... A real nightmare !!! They drive me mad, that's why I can't stand bamboos, and that's why I can't hold them as the symbol of serenity. In my previous comment, it was just a sort of touch of humour from my part, through my own experience (as opposed to what bamboos usually convey), nothing at all against your photos, Merisi... Hope you got it that way.
The flowers and bamboo are SO pretty! It makes the room look so light and airy :D Once again, you've managed to transport me from this dreary office, to your wonderful world of beauty! Thanks, Merisi!
