  1. This picture makes me feel very serene straight away ... a good start for a long day ahead !!!

What are those 4 white spots in the background ??? To me they look like beach huts ... because the shore is white alike sand ... !
or would they be fishing huts ???
    I wonder ...

    Have a good day !

  2. Marie-Noëlle,
the white dots in the background belong to a hydroelectric power station.
I'll change the setting so that you will be able to see a larger version of the picture.
A wonderful day to you too,

  4. Charles,
the river is too fast for that, but a few miles downriver there are sidearms that flow lazily and are great for boating. I spent my early years there.

  5. Martha, thank you!
I was surprised my 50mm lens would capture that much. ;-)

  6. Thank you, Merisi !
I must admit electricity is part of our everyday lives, ... Anyway, I'll pretend they are fishing huts, which suit the landscape better ... and keep its harmony.

  7. Marie-Noëlle,
    you are welcome! :-)
Hydroelectric power stations or atomic power plants, an easy choice, I'd think. Or back to the caves.

  8. Your urban photos are beautiful, but this pastoral setting is so serene as well. What a gorgeous setting.

  10. A wonderful enticement -- leading the eye down the river and to the distant mountains.
