I'd just like to know... with all the delicious, scrumptious treats featured on this blog that has the rest of us salivating up until our knees, do you ever put on weight?
Thank heaven, I do not get to indulge too often. More time spent lusting after one of those treats than actually enjoying one. When I do, I truly savour the moment.
It is probably just as well that I don't live in Vienna . . . even though you make it look like the most seductive place in the world! How much pleasure is permissable, do you think?
Oh yes, you may definitely tempt me with these Viennese treats.
We've now got a thunderstorm entering the NYC area...hoping that it will cool us down a bit, and still allow tonight's free Central Park concert by the Black Eyed Peas go on.

Simona: Orlando di Castello is a new coffeehouse in Vienna, albeit with a modern twist: Great Italian-style coffee, "up-dated" menu, French pastries, an interior look that touches on convention on one end of the arc and contemporary on the other. The name is only the roof over the concept, in my opinion, but I still would like to know how it came about. Any suggestions? ;-)
Windows of Vienna, very tempting to make a phone order, seeing as I am chained to my desk. ;-)
Bee, one must live every moment of pleasure that comes our way, I believe. :-)
Frances, I could not find any negative news report in the New York Times, so I hope that the concert did take place, after all. And nothing better than a summer evening after a thunderstorm that clears the air.

ReplyDeleteYes to coffee and chocolate! Can there be a better combination? I'm salivating ... Love the composition of this photo too.
ReplyDeleteThe Cafehaus has an interesting name: I wonder why they chose that name for the establishment.
ReplyDeleteThis one is truly one of the best from ODC. YOu can order it as a square cake too.
