Thilda, yes indeed! It could have been once upon a time the home of somebody who took care of the street along the valley. I had come from high up in the mountains, Toblach, and was so enchanted by the sight, I stopped and walked around.
Karen, coming down from Toblach (South Tyrol, near Lienz in Eastern Tyrol, the first now Italian, Lienz still in Austria), driving off the beaten path towards Lake Garda, surely one of the most beautiful drive in the whole wide world, if you ask me.
Lovely cottage and lake. :)
