you'd thought you'd be
the evening before

The morning sweetened
with rock candy
and brightened by sunshine

A pot of Earl Grey
and what is - for my taste -
the best croissant
in the whole wide world,
Zauner's Ischler Kipferl:
Golden buttery brioche layers
rolled with roasted ground hazelnuts.
Austrian pâtissiers are masters at
this kind of pastry,
Zauner's creation
is one of the best I have ever tasted

  4. Bad Ischl... A Kaiservilla of Franz Josef and Sissi is in Bad Ischl..
    Austrian pâtissiers are masters, Oh yes ! I like Austrian Pastries, all the Austrian Pastrie ! When i lived in Paris I takes pastries in "Le Stübli" rue Poncelet 17e, ou "Chocolat Viennois" rue des Dames 17e, ou "la Patisserie Viennoise" de l'Ecole de Medecine in 6e arrt, it was : hummmm miam...
