The Cherry Orchard

"... everywhere I have been,
every minute, day and night,

my soul has been full
of mysterious anticipations.
I can hear the sound of its footsteps....

I feel the approach of happiness, Anya;
I see it coming ...

it is coming towards us,
nearer and nearer;

And if we do not see it,
if we do not know it,
what does it matter?
Others will see it."

  1. I went there yesterday, the cherry trees are in full bloom. The lilacs will follow soon. I was not happy with the pictures I took, therefore the repost.

    A wonderful day to all of you,
    Merisi

  17. You know I've never noticed this before - have you always done it - had a different colour post title each day?
    Beautiful blossoms.
    This year I will plant my very first cherry tree.

  18. Your words brighten my day (which is already very bright - April at its best this morning)! Thank you all so much!

    Freefalling,
    no, I started playing with the color of the title fairly recently (easier than learning more HTML to learn how to get my link list back - I am stubbornly insisting on staying with ye olde blogger format, too afraid I won't like the change to a new one).

    Cheers,
    Merisi

  19. May 3 be a charm...I thought that I was signed in...

    Your Cherry tree blossoms are gorgeous and the writing beneath each is pure elegance. I have been sharing some spring blossoms this past week, or so as well...they bring forth joy and hope and promise of new birth, rewed birth and I long for that. To one heart touching so many~ Mary
