  1. Great reflections in the water. Lana often tries to capture those.

  2. How do you do it Merisi? How do you keep the unique and fabulous pictures coming day after day?
I have had trouble posting my pictures, then I took a trip to Nashville, Tenn. and came home sick. Now that I'm back among the living I just can't seem to get started again.
I think perhaps viewing your photos will get the juices flowing again. Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. I have been sharing the past few days with Sazzie, so have caught up with you now.

I imagine, Merisi, that you are artistic in everything you do. I see your house, the way you have arranged for the sunlight to fall just so; the painted floorboards reflecting the vases of blowsy peonies on the piano, the bookshelves groaning with books on art and philosophy. I see your bed with white linen and fall of white lace draped over a bedpost. And your kitchen, eclectic like my own, full of light and colour. But yours has French windows onto a small sunlit patio-where coffee waits for us.

I get all this from your wonderfully artistic work on these pages. Brilliant!

Allow me my fantasies please, darling.

  7. Fabulous photos. I'll have to show Joe those first tulips--he LOVES that color. Gorgeous. As for the reflections in this last one: to die for. You head to the most beautiful places.

  8. These photographs are different from your usual style -- both lovely, but these are very striking.

  10. It's cold again in Warsaw today, so the sunny burst of yellow is very welcomed.

    Moannie,
    you are very sweet! *bighug*

    Bee,
    thank you! :-)
Most pictures on my blog are just that, postcard-like images, but in my secret chamber I try to develop a different style, look, whatever (oh well, trying to get artsy!). ;-)

    Vicki Lane,
those tulips looked just like that - I think they are called parrot tulips. Their color was so intriguing, and I like the reflections (the vertical stripes) on the glass counter (they were standing on the cake vetrine).

I liked how the tulips, the writing on the shop window and the fence at the Venetian canal all came with those curlicues and even the colors repeated itself. And I found them all within a short frame of time and in three different countries (this was the time last year when I drove through six countries in five days).
