It was a 5 day road trip from Vienna to Geneva, via Switzerland and back through Italy, not for pleasure, but I tried to make the best of it (on my way to Geneva, it snowed on the southern route through Italy, and back home it snowed on the northern one - thankfully I was able to switch according to the weather forecasts).
Ahhhhh I'm seething with jealousy! It looks absolutely beautiful in bella Italia. Enjoy every second! And continue posting those photos so that I can go on virtual vacation with you :-)
Britt-Arnhild, I see you remember those post titles of mine!
A Brush with Color, there such magic about it, isn't it? ;-) (Susan, I was driving one of my daughters back to university - I had only five days because of my own university schedule, but I managed to drive through 6 countries and stay a night each at the border to Switzerland, in France and in Venice.)
OOooo, Italy! I have never been there, but now I am planning our holiday to south-Germany (soon) and there is still 6 days to spend somewhere, maybe in Italy! :)
lovely pictures! hope you enjoyed the trip!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Colores!

ReplyDeleteSome days I surprise myself publishing a blog post a day ahead! This one was scheduled for tomorrow. Or so I thought! ;-)
I could need a walk through Aosta right now, including a coffee stop. Good Italian Cappuccino.
