Striking images of a lovely area. Makes me remember when I would fly into New York City and I loved walking past all of the storefront windows. Oh, and I want that little dog;)
Thank you all for your kind comments, I appreciate each and everyone!
That dog steals the show, even amidst that busy row of stores, doesn't it? Those three doors are quite an eclectic jumble. I love walking by there (I took all those pictures on Monday, luxuriating in getting out of the metro on Karlsplatz and walking for an hour to an appointment and later back, meandering through other streets of the Inner City - had not done that for almost weeks!).
The Chanel boutique looks like a giant Chanel #5 box, doesn't it? Can't get my eyes off it, every time I walk by.
@RNSANE: CARMEN, people were simply walking to and fro, on their way to their destinations. Kohlmarkt is quite a wide street in Vienna's large pedestrian only zone in the center of the city. It is my impession that people here don't rush, they simply move right along. Thank you for the award!
The Chanel window is quite striking. There's no way your eyes could avoid looking at it. Tres belle.

Love the dog -- a lionish look escaped from the shop windows.
