are blue ...
The New Danube River
View of the Reichsbrücke
and 22nd District with UNO City
to the right, and the 2nd (Leopoldstadt)
to the left
(I think!)
On the horizon, Kahlenberg
and Leopoldsberg in the 19th District,
with the hills of the Vienna Woods
running westwards.

Dear readers,
ReplyDeleteI am never quite sure which of the three riverbeds is the Old and which the New Danube. Exposes me as the new kid in town each and every time I should come up with the right answer. Somewhere on my blog I did the proper research, I hope to dig it up before I publish my next blog post, with more Blue Danube pictures!
A wonderful day to all of you,
with skies as blue as the one extending over this fair city today - thank heaven for that!
Cheers,
Merisi
I left the images extra large, just click on them (love how I managed to get that white building to the right all tilting to the left - well, at least the Reichsbrücke runs horizontally, or does it???).

ReplyDeleteBarbara Martin,
we have had plenty of snow already this winter, but lately we were lucky enough to enjoy a spell of almost springlike weather. Looks as if snow is arriving towards the weekend!
