  2. Are the selling those Chanel dolls? Love their little Chanel suits trimmed in red! And the hats, too, of course....

  3. AH! Merisi. I have neglected you lately-but have just been down and back and found such fun and beauty, from Karl to pointy cakes, icy scenes, penguins on balconies, through Christmas morning to icy ladies, and all with your bright seeing eyes. Lovely.

Have a happy and healthy New Year.

  4. Gee, a whole Chanel boutique! Pardon my hayseed ways as I stand here agog. Those little dolls are very cute; I wonder if they're being sold as well? Clever marketing...but then, it's Chanel. I will give myself an extra spritz of No.5 today in honour of this posting. Happy holidays to you, Merisi!

  7. I LOVE your title!!!
I wish I had come up with that one...
And I wish Chanel had left the doilies on the tabletop...
we didn't get the dollies in New York!
    Why? That's the fun part...

  8. Oooh La La! I love these window shots you take!! Aren't those dolls fantastic? Hope you are enjoying your holidays, Merisi. I've been so loaded down with work that I haven't had much time to enjoy life. Coming to your blog today warmed my heart and calmed my ragged soul.
    Hugs,
    ~Allie

  11. It's been years since I've had a bottle of Chanel #5, though I wore it often in my youth. It brings back many fond memories. Joy always continued to be my most special and favorite fragrance.

The Chanel shop must have been gorgeous, decorated for Christmas.

    Dear Readers,
I decided to republish this blog post, comments and all:
Due dates are looming over my head and I let myself better not be led into temptation and play. I republished with the comments from 2010 because Moannie passed away this year and I miss her sweet voice and friendship.
To you, Moannie, her loved ones, and all the sweet friends out there,
thank you and best wishes for a wonderful Christmastime to all of you,
    Merisi
