The Neo-Gothic Churchwas built in the years 1893-1899
This place of worshipwas heavily damaged during
Allied bombing raids in February 1945
Restoration work was not completed until twenty years later,
in the mid-sixties
Currently, stonemasons are sandblastingthe church portal, in an effort
to remove environmental damage
and restore its former beauty
