This fun and very popular street furniture ("Public Couch Potato Lounge Chairs" - my tongue in cheek translation) is the second generation of the originally hot pink "Enzi" lounge chairs.
When the cold season arrives, the Enzis become buildings blocks for an ice Palace that is erected in the Square. Unfortunately, last winter, a fire destroyed much of the original Enzis. The lounge chairs were redesigned and are now constructed out of fireproof materials. Officially renamed "Enzo", they are still Enzis in the heart of the public.
The large public square of the MuseumsQuarter is a beloved hangout of Viennese youth and more mature visitors alike.
The three players in the foreground had a whole lot of fun and were pretty good at it. I was rushing to the metro station and wished I could have watched the game.
Thank you so much for reminding me of the name of the game!!!!
Those colourful couches look like gigantic Playmobil ones ! I think the "Hyper Real" poster in the background is about an exhibition about pop art and photography... Have you seen the exhibition? I'd love to !!! Marie-Noëlle
