Morning in the City

Morning in the City
Stiftgasse
6th District

Thursday morning
I had a few minutes
to explore the neighbourhood
whiles waiting for
the camera store to open

and caught these images
in a nearby courtyard.
These chance encounters
of unexpected beauty
even on a hectic day
with no time to spare
are part of Vienna's
charme and quality of life:
All of a sudden
the world stands still
and readjust itself
to give you space
to breath

I spent yesterday evening at the theater
and watched the Austrian premiere of
Tiit Ojasoo / Ene-Liis Semper / Theater NO99 Talinn
Kuidas seletada pilte surnud jänesele -
How to Explain Pictures to a Dead Hare

These two and a half intense hours were one of the most memorable performances of modern theater I had ever seen! There are two more performances of this play,
today, Sunday, and tomorrow, Monday, at 8.30pm.
Lucky you, if you can find the time to attend!
Tickets are only 19 Euros.

A wonderful Sunday
to all of you,
wherever you are!

  3. Merisi, I wish that I could see that theatre production. Maybe some day it might show up over here.

Meanwhile, you again delight us with your way of finding that charming bit of beauty just around a corner.

Lucky for us that the camera store was not yet open!

Love the photos, especially of the pots in the courtyard! That would be wonderful to catch glimpses like that.
