ReplyDeleteSide note: I love that loveseat/settee :)
Sure, thanks. Also, send the love-seat over.

No disrespect, but may I just take the coffee? Maybe with an apfel strudel?
ReplyDeleteHello Merisi.
ReplyDeleteI have just treated myself to your blue Monday posts ... each of them has that quality of light, your way of seeing something in a new way and letting us see it, too.
And, of course, once you invite us into the cafe, well. Of course, it is always a delight, a perfect time to pull out a chair, or settle on a settee. And place an order.
My week is off to a grand start. Thank you!
Vienna is a still life painter's dream...
ReplyDeleteVery dreamy today :)
Hi Merisi,
ReplyDeleteI would love to be there at the quiet place... sounds very calm!
PS: Thanks for your nice congratulation and best wishes to my grandson.
Thank you! I enjoyed having morning coffee with you.
ReplyDeleteDelicious you are.
Hugs and smiles,
Sherry
I really felt like tip-toeing away from the first shot, just to respect his privacy.
ReplyDeleteMartin,
ReplyDeleteI shot the image with a very shallow depth of field, with the reader's face out of focus, then tip-toed away, and took a window seat in the next room.
I try not to pry on people, leaving many a beautiful image behind, out of privacy concerns.
I so miss Demel. Went to the Plaza on Saturday and they filled the spot with a plain old cafe...just not the same. Hopefully they will be up and running soon somewhere bigger and better in the city. Great photos as always!!
ReplyDeleteI, too, love the striped love seat!
ReplyDeleteOui , Merci .
ReplyDeleteEin Cafe Melange und einen Kuchen bitte.
ReplyDeleteI remember the important bits in german ;)
I've never had rhubarb strudel. Was it really quiet, or loud with heavenly sighs?

I love, love, love that sofa...think I'd stop for coffee just to have the opportunity to lounge in that! :-) Beautiful post...You compose all of them so artistically...I love the way you have a limited color palette for this one...and spice it up with the red sofa! Brilliant! Love, Janine XO
