ReplyDeleteI like the theme, and how you played off of it in this series.

Charles Gramlich,
that was definitely a Mondrian kind of day,
red and yellow just kept appearing. ;-)
Sooo beautiful. Red is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteNice to see that the lonely king of a previous post has a queen. It's evidently not easy being king -- he looks a bit weary.
ReplyDeleteOh Merisi, thank you for the tulips! They look so real.
ReplyDeleteI also have very vivid memories of summer's red geraniums!
Beautiful and striking, as always, Merisi! You have an eye for composition and beauty everywhere!
ReplyDeleteThe red and yellow tulips - stunning. I like the Boogie Woogie, simple but striking.
ReplyDeleteI've been listening to some of Chopin's Nocturnes today.
ReplyDeleteMerisi, you are a genius at playing with a visual theme. All of these pictures are so good, but so much of the pleasure is in how you put them together.
Lovely as usual...have a special geranium connection & want to leap ahead & order some. But no. Too cold. Another reason to move to southern Italy...with a protected balcony so they bloom most of the year.
ReplyDeleteAh, the queen looks sweet sitting there.

ReplyDeleteDelightful set of pictures!
ReplyDeleteIn fact, in the last image it's nice and funny to imagine summer's red geraniums!
