Merisi, I do hope to add something to that little floating boat.
Lovely to see some signs of spring are arriving in Vienna. (Still like that intricately woven snow barrier.)
We might get another dose of snow here in New York tomorrow. Until then, this was a day that signaled more progress towards spring. Gloves and hat off.
In the shop, linens, cottons, silks and blends thereof beginning to attract attention.
Hi Merisi, this looks like a painting, amazing, love the three human figures in it, giving it so much balance, have a great day greetings from Paris Andrea
@ Frances, you have provided the sweetest breezes, ever since you left your first comment here, I cannot thank you enough for that! You keep my little boat afloat and my sails billowing in a brilliant sea, you are my muse and the perfect wind. Sails ahoy, Frances! :-)
It looks as though she has a spotlight shining on her. Very theatrical.
ReplyDeleteI wish! I'm anxiously awaiting spring, but they say we're getting a few inches of snow tonight, so I'll vicariously pretend I'm her. Lovely, Merisi!
ReplyDeleteAmuse-Bouche for Two,
ReplyDeletethank you!:-)
I caught her just in time, before she walked off into the shade.
A Brush With Color,
isn't that a lovely storefront, Sue?
My heart goes out to you, more snow is not what one needs this time of the year!
Btw:
The image can be enbiggiated by clicking on it! ;-)
Oh, this is a scene from which classic film?

This picture looks like a dollshouse or an advent card where the windows and doors open up.
ReplyDeleteCharmant!
Beautiful bright light!!!

ReplyDeletea spring due to the nearing spring?
ReplyDeleteMerisi;) that figure looks like someone from the fifties. And set out against the beautiful store front. I love it. Well captured.
ReplyDeleteYes yes yes! For those who have great legs, show 'em. Terrific shot Merisi, given that you must have had seconds only.
ReplyDelete@ The Girl From Cherry Blossom Street ,
ReplyDeleteI thought of Audrey Hephurn, "Roman Holiday" *smile*
Vienna in spring is a good stand-in! ;-)
@ ParisBreakfasts,
this is one of my favorite storefronts in Vienna.
Can you see yourself painting Viennese vignettes? ;)

Schön, die Schwäbische Jungfrau ist eines der wenigen noch eingesessenen Geschäfte am Graben. Die Ketten haben sie alle aufgefressen ....
