I was very tempted to call these reds "magenta" - but then I remembered that I have read somewhere that a German cell phone company has copyrighted that colour for their exclusive use (something along that line, a patent, something), so all I would dare say is that it is a purplish red. I went even further and searched "cie" at Google Image: Help, I am drowning in a sea of non-magenta, i.e. more purplish-reds than I ever dreamed of! ;-)

ReplyDeleteA royal treatment for our daily bread - it deserves the red carpet or the red drape in this case.
ReplyDeleteI don't care much for patenting common words by companies. The word "Magenta" has been there long before this company claimed the right to it. Same with the colour. I am amazed that any court or legislative body would grant rights to something like that.
P.S. Sorry, the Magenta thing raised my blood pressure and I forgot to thank you for the beautiful Luna song on my post today. It brings goosebumps.
