Up until yesterday, the ginko tree outside my front window looked just like the one in your photo. And then ... the wind began to blow, and blow, and blow.
Leaves are now scattered far and wide, and until next spring will view the strange architecture of the tree's branches. It's a wonderful tree to draw, right round the year.
I have so enjoyed all your posts this week, having a good look at beauty indoor and outdoors.
What a gold and blue poem! Yes, I think the girl at the top of the hill was the same one who stood by the window in my house. I see Frances commented above. I'm going for a walk with her on Wednesday. How blog worlds intertwine with the real one.
Ginko trees/leaves are some of the most beautiful in all of nature, I think...and you have photographed them so exquisitely...as always!! I love the shot of the parapet as well...the colors and composition of your crisp photography are truly the creme de la creme, my dear friend!!! All my love ~Janine XO
lovely photos, love your blog!
ReplyDeleteAutumn in Vienna is always touched by magic. Lovely colour and a splendid Ginco biloba. My ten year old tree died in the drought last summer.

I don't think I've ever seen a pic of a small ginko.
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast, man-made versus nature.
ReplyDelete"Parapet Figures" is stunning. They are all wonderful, but that one is especially so.
