  1. This is a photo I took last year, in October.
The sky was just as blue, yesterday, in the morning,
when I walked through the rose garden.

A wonderful day with blue skies to all of you!

  2. Thank you, Merisi! Unfortunately, all we have today is different shades of gray, without any hope for blue. But maybe tomorrow :)

  3. Who knew that Monet hides inside your camera? Just beautiful, Merisi. :)

  4. @ Jelica:
Same here, shades of grey today!

I feel lucky that I was able yesterday to skip the tram and walk from Karlsplatz along the Ring and up Währinger Strasse to the Volksoper. I arrived a few minutes late, but walking under blue skies was worth the risk.

    @ Hilary,
thank you, you are very kind! :-)
I must admit, that I was thinking of Monet's garden when I watched this scene.

  6. Beautiful blue -- here we have rain -- the skirts of Hurricane Ida brushing by as she makes her exit.

  7. The heart and soul, for me, of a good photograph is composition. The photo can be of almost anything ... flowers, people or places but the thing I always perk up to is composition.

Most blog photos are simply snapshots. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at your stylishly composed pictures.

  8. Today's sky is very blue where I live - I can pretend I'm in beautiful Vienna; the city I love and miss so much. Thank you for the gorgeous photos!
