Beautiful and lovely post !! This is really a fantastic feast !!
ReplyDeleteKaiserschmarrn = Emperor Nonsense....my fav translation while waiting tables in Austria
ReplyDeleteMmmm, I'd love to have some Kaiserschmarrn! :)
ReplyDeleteMIss you!!!
The meat and taters look very good but I don't think I'd try the pumpkin soup. That looks pretty but doesn't sound very appetizing to me.
ReplyDeleteHow fascinating that your post on food has a anti-spam word Swine in it.
The pumpkin soup looks delicious, and now I'm hungry after looking at this wonderful display of food.
ReplyDeleteHow delectable! I've got my autumn feast in the oven right now, but it will be served up in a more "rustic" fashion.
ReplyDeleteThe garnishes on the pumpkin soup are so painterly.
It all looks wonderful! I made soup yesterday with leftover roasted sweet potatoes and butternut squash. It was delicious but didn't look as elegant.
ReplyDeleteYummee!
ReplyDeleteNoooo! I feel hungry now…and its too late to eat

ReplyDeleteI so wanted to have some Kaiserchmarrn in Demel 2 months ago but was told by the lady that they don't serve it after 6pm. That has become a reason to back to Vienna.... soon.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so beautiful. I am sure all who ate it, did it great justice.
