  2. @ Renate,
    thank you!
Have you clicked on the image?
It reveals that there are still quite a few leaves on the tree branches, even after all the stormy rains that swept through during the last couple of days.

  6. Love this photo! What a great book cover it would make.

I didn't see the other two people till I 'biggified' it. Ghostly. . .

  7. This is a sensational shot!
There is no way I would've seen the "others" had I not clicked to enlarge the photo.
    Wow!

  10. Friday Morning:

Thank you all for your kind comments!

The first pictures is how the original looks.
I have now added a small version of the same image that I manipulated a bit with my Mac photo editor. I am totally lost doing it, but I managed to lighten the picture so you can see the other people walking down the hill. I like the mystery of the original way better of course. ;-)

  12. This looks like it should be the opening or closing shot for a movie. It speaks volumes. Love it!

  13. Had my imagination buzzing-she's despondant-alone. She was the only mourner at the funeral of her father. She is in a foriegn city. She had only just found him, their time together too brief, too many questions left unanswered. Why had he left them twenty years before? Why had he changed his name? Why had he denied the truth...turned her away and closed his door on her with the words 'leave the dead to sleep?'.

  17. I love this. It's eerie and mysterious. I agree with one of your reader that this would make a great book cover.

Your artistic eye is at the top of the game.
