Wunderbar. Sehr schon. It's funny that I am listening to Radio Paradise at work and they have just played Ultravox's 'Vienna'. No, seriously. They did :-).
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for your kind comments on my blog. I love yours.
Greetings from London.
beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful hollyhocks! And I can almost hear the bitter-sweet accordion music.
ReplyDeleteLovely. I loved your pics of the little sparrow too. Imagine a sparrow as a dinner guest.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful picture. So timeless!
ReplyDeleteThe bright sunny day. I picture the music as happy and bright as well.
ReplyDeletePoignant photo, which suggests dancing music, played by a one-legged man.
ReplyDeleteA CUBAN IN LONDON:
ReplyDeleteSerendipity! :-)
Welcome!
THANK YOU ALL
for your kind comments!

Yes, that is what struck me too when I observed this scene! And he was really a really good player and when I noticed his handicap, the music all of a sudden sounded bittersweet.
.
Hollihocks dancing in the wind. That is music in itself.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of the way you compose your posts.
Perfection.
I bet he makes everyone smile! Love the hollyhocks, too!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is wonderful! I'm leaving your blog with a smile! Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteThis guy looks Romanian. I can hear the music as I look at the photo.
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to ask you, what kind of camera are you using for your photos?
Thanks for your update on my blog. I was really sorry to hear how things are at the Shakespeare Bookshop. I can't believe people nnnnnnnnnnnnnn(oops that was the cat) behave that way.
Delightful :-)
ReplyDeleteI adore hollyhocks. Can't wait until next spring when I can plant some.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, as always, Merisi!
I am so sorry I haven't commented in a while...I have been traveling and enjoying our unusual warm autumn here in Upper Michigan for the past few weeks. I am wayyyy behind in reading my fav blogs and commenting and I haven't been able to post on my own blog as often as usual.
ReplyDeleteBut I am slowly catching up. I have read your past two weeks blogs tonight and have loved the images, all of them! Especially the sparrow. It was adorable.
What wonderful images, Merisi. Hollyhocks are beautiful, and the Music Man is a touching image at the end here.
ReplyDeleteI don't always comment but I love my almost daily visit to enjoy life in Vienna vicariously through your photos.
ReplyDeleteOh! I'd love to pause in the street for a moment and enjoy the music.
ReplyDeleteLovely flower,
Paz
