Summer is coming to an end my friend...the cool fall pushes its way into my garden even now. I can hardly believe that summer will soon be a goner! hugs Sandi
I'd love to think that it is you there, on that lounger Merisi, but even you could not have set the timer, run round the pool lain on the chair and looked so relaxed.
I drove to Canterbury this morning through an arch of trees all red and gold, my favourite season is upon us and I can did out the baggy sweaters again...Yipeeee!
Dear readers, thank you all for your kind comments!
All summer I had dreamed of returning there for a swim in late afternoon. Yesterday I finally succeeded. I arrived at 5.30pm, swam for half an hour and then grabbed one of those lounge chairs and spent half an hour reading only a few yard up the hill, behind the lady in the first image. Heaven! Then I took my camera and took a few pictures. I love the spare lines of the of pool buildings and their stark colours contrasting with the lush green of the surrounding landscape and alone the golden light just before sunset is a good reason to go there in the evening.
Oh, where did summer go? I'm glad you got one last "time" in before closing. Everything looks so peaceful and I like the first shot of just being lazy in the lawn chair.
Merisi, you have an uncanny eye for catching just the "right" image for the mood the city is in. Brava.
