What architectural strength you've captured...still I most enjoy the white tied down umbrellas combined with the man in white -with the tied back hair.
The first photo is the epitome of morning. I've just beenreveling in all the posts I had missed while doing tax returns, one for Mehrsertssteuer for the last quarter and our big annual one for the farm as well as two personal returns. They have been hanging over my head like damocletian swords for weeks.
Der Morgen in der Stadt ist immer sehr schön, je früher umso schöner. Ganz besonders im Sommer, wenn es auch schon am Morgen so warm ist. Da sind mir sogar die Autos am Graben recht ;)
Fantastic serie! Like everybody, I'm delighted by the last one, ghosts, supplicants? Anyway something more than reality, the Artist's eye, that catches something more .We can smell the air of the early viennes morning, beautiful gifts for the beguinners, thank you Merisi!!

Like the bike shot!
ReplyDeleteLovely images, even those that are not so pristine...lovely still...
ReplyDeleteSandi
Those folded up table umbrellas scream of morning.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are back home. I love those ghostly umbrellas in the last shot.
ReplyDeleteThat last picture made me catch my breath. I thought that the folded-in umbrellas were a group of supplicants!
ReplyDeleteWonderful images -- I thought the last one was an assembly of ghosts till I looked closer.

This was a wonderful respite.
I love all the photos! They are amazing. The things you can see when you wake up before the city does...

I love mornings in Wien, with the flower sellers carrying their bouquets over their shoulders and the pink light.
