Delightful, Merisi! Your haiku and photo pair beautifully...The saturation of color and heavy imagery of scent in the poem makes for a heady, sensual experience here. Thanks so much for join us. Hope you had fun. Many seem to be enjoying this event a lot and wish it to return--I think it will. :o) Happy Day!
ReplyDeleteOnly you could make a bouquet wrapped in paper look so beautiful...I happen to love lilacs...and wine, lol!

My favorite flower!
ReplyDeleteMore lilacs, please!
Oh, I really like that "secret, spring fragrance" line. Mine are just about out. Mmmm!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo too.

I didn't realize how abundant lilacs were in Vienna. Unfortunately, they aren't native to our part of Texas. These are such lovely photos, Merisi. They take me away from my world every day. Thank you.

Love how the color of the haiku text picks up the colours of the two photographs of reddish lilac, the haiku making a simple connection.
ReplyDeleteDivinely beautiful! Savoring my visit here as always! ~Janine XO
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! I can smell the lilacs from here!
ReplyDeleteEveryday here is an exqusite haiku!
ReplyDeleteI'be wanting to say that for days but too busy NOT-packing to get here...Procrastination takes time
