Gilded Bronze Angels
By Othmar Schimkowitz
(1864 - 1947)
Schimkowitz was a Hungarian-born sculptor
and a noted member of the Viennese Secession.
View from the Front Portico
The view from the portico,
located under Schimkowitz's angels,
is somewhat restricted by the towering trees
on the recreational park area of the hospital.
The angels
enjoy an unrestricted view from on high,
over the valley of the Wien River,
to Schönbrunn's Palace and beyond.

Those Art Nouveau angels are really gorgeous. Angels with bobbed hair--awesome! The whole presentation took my breath away. Thanks.
