ReplyDeleteI adore the water in the first image
Lovely to sit and catch up on your blog posts. I have to say that your blog is most unique in the use of photos and prose that go together so well...Michelle..
ReplyDeleteLove the water music and the photos to match. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI have to say this all looks VERY Viennese!!!
ReplyDeleteWho needs to visit mitt your exquisite photos!?
oh my gosh, who needs HD when we have Merisi's images. The drops of water!! My husband stated that you must have a digital SLR? Is he right? Again?
ReplyDeleteand your last post those coloured eggs fantastic.
Juju,
ReplyDeletethank you! :-)
ramblingwoods,
thank you, Michele! :-)
sue,
that fountain is finally working again - it had been wrapped ever since I moved to Vienna.
parisbreakfast,
you think I could be in trouble with the Austrian Tourist Board?
The light is extraordinary right now, wouldn't your painter's eye agree? I took these images and the ones under "Evensong" on the same evening, an exquisite Golden Hour.
Fat, frumpy and fifty,
ReplyDeleteyes, I shot those images with a digital SRL. While my old little Sony Cybershot and the Lumix produce brilliant pictures, the SRL's manual settings and viewfinder give you more power creating the image you "see".
These are astonishing! I especially love the first shot with the water captured in mid flight.
ReplyDeleteWow! I want to take that angel home! :-)
ReplyDeleteThere is something magical in water drops caught in the air and held. Love it!
ReplyDeleteNice and beautiful images. I like the fountain the most, gorgeous.. Thanks for visiting my blog..
ReplyDeleteyay! clicked on St. Michael hoping to enlarge pic and SURPRISE - youtube video . . .

ReplyDeleteI'm especially partial to the 2nd photo - just love the facade, the angle & one open window pane.
My mom's side is Serbian and her family's saint (celebrated with Slava) is St. Michael.
Lovely pictures...glad you left a post so I could find you and follow you now!
ReplyDeletePlease do look at my post again because I replied to your remark--I certainly did not want to offend "Gen Y"!
A gorgeous tribute to a master!
