Wonderful eggs! I told Joe we have to paint some this year--I always enjoy them, and then we can make some spinach salads. (I kind of like to paint them more than eat them.) ;D
Each egg is a beautiful piece of artwork. How do people in Vienna decorate with them during Easter? Are there lots of Egg Trees? I hate to eat hardboiled eggs but I love to decorate them. My husband is in "hog heaven" at Easter as that's the only time he gets hardboiled eggs!
Thanks for your kind words on my site. It has just been one of those valleys in the rollercoaster of life.....nothing horrific. As my mother always says...."This, too, shall pass."
Such lovely pictures Merisi, thanks for brightening up a cold and chilly day with hues and colours from Wien. I love this hanging egg tradition! Here, with 2 cats in the house I dare not join in though...
Hi Merisi, These are all beautiful photos. Vera also took photos of the Easter market and has an album of it at Webshots. Thank you for visiting my Steiff Teddy Bears at my blog and leaving me a message. I love these bears...they are my friends and my dogs are my children. I also have a dog blog. Have a great spring, Carol Jean

Just gorgeous! I love the eggs.
ReplyDeleteThank you all! :-)
ReplyDeleteOnly blown-out eggs get decorated that elaborately and usually displayed hanging from branches of willow or forsythia.
Painted eggs remind me of Easter and bunnies. The golden eggs are very nice.
ReplyDeleteThe blue eggs are incredible!
