Merisi, I think this is one of my favorite series. Each picture is so simple yet so complete. I could go on and on but I guess you can tell I liked these.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day or is it night there?
Congratulations on being a 'Blog of Note', Merisi! Thanks for sharing your beautiful world with all of us!
ReplyDeleteMuch love to you,
Catherine
Wonderful shots...and that smile is worth more than words! She could be a friend...

Just directed here by Nikki. As a Wienophile (?), absolutely love all these photos. Quite beautiful

Beautiful pics! I miss Europe. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThat shell and window picture is quite striking (and what is the shell *for* if not to shade the window?)
ReplyDeleteI'm always interested in all the various and exotic salt varieties - although I've never been able to taste them next to each other enough to tell them apart. :-)
Fascinating photos as always.
ReplyDeleteCafe Diglas shot is CLEARLY the winner here (for me). These are wonderful shots, artfully done. Not everyone can shoot a salts collection artfully. Keep up the great work! :)
ReplyDeleteI dub thee Dame Merisi, mistress of the superb.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of an elegant city with a history to match none.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your Blog of Note! Beautiful photographs and blog! :)
ReplyDeleteCudos on your wonderful site!
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I had the good fortune a number of years ago of vacationing with another couple in Vienna. We had a fabulous time.
In university, I majored in history and was fascinated by the Habsburgs. Visiting there fulfilled a dream for me and tied together reality with the written word.
Vienna did not disappoint. The food, the people and the romantic atmosphere lived up to our expectations.
A fine blog.
I invite you to visit my site at garyross.ca.
All the best,
Gary
Lovely :-)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful beautiful beautiful photographs... you've made my morning, Merisi. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI have not been to Vienna yet but your photo's make me want to head there asap! Such grand photographs!
ReplyDeleteThe photo you labeled Cafe Diglas caught my eye as it shows the old oak based cash register that is exactly like the one I bought at an antique shop a few years ago.
When I want to move mine to another location in my art room I have to gather 4 men to do the job. These are heavy-heavy! I had a great delight at coming across this photo & seeing it.
Thanks for sharing your lovely work & travels with us!
