Merisi~ Sometimes I dream in Italian, too!! LOVE these photos from Florence. And, you know?.....I just got an email today from my cousin who is studying art in Sweden and he's headed to Florence today for an art show there and to spend a long weekend. Is the universe speaking to me? Maybe I need to go buy a ticket to Italy for Spring Break! If only.....
I was so excited when I clicked on the photo and off I went in completely different direction. You are a clever girl! Oh, and the waffles are ready... Sandi
If I dreamed in Italian, I wouldn't be able to understand my own dream. Your photos are so beautiful and make me soooo hungry on my diet...Have a good weekend... Michelle
Ah - love this post. So many wonderful images (and YES! to the gelato!)
My husband goes on business trips to the southeast corner of Italy (fairly industrial) - which is apparently the only not-to-die-for part of the country - else I would go with him...
Thank you all so much for your kind comments! I think I managed to get at least a peak, if not leaving a comment on all but a few of your blogs, instead of thanking everybody here. I leave this little note to tell you how much I appreciate that you take the time to leave all these kind comments. In less than 24 hours I shall hopefully be in Venice, if I manage to get my papers sorted out and my carry-on packed that is. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, Merisi
Sigh. You've only roused all the Italophile in me which I've been working so hard to douse! I love Tuscany, one of my most favourite places! Gorgeous, dreamy pics, Merisi!
A llovely series of photos. I love the berries. And, of course, the rose.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a gorgeous gorgeous post! I have followed every link. I love those olives and the strange orange fruit.
ReplyDeleteOh, I see from your labels it must be a persimmon!
ReplyDeleteGrapes are so lovely the way they cluster. I wish I liked the taste of them better. I like the idea of eating grapes more than actually eating them.
ReplyDeleteLovely Italian travels.
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Venezia. I will be there in June!
Merisi~
