  2. Merisi~
It's been a blue Monday for me so far. Drizzle, grey clouds, cold, going back to work....blah! However....this is such a lovely picture! I like the word Lori Lynn used..."sweet". You captured the delicate petals and yet they are standing up to the freezing snow. Hey! That's me! I'm the Pansy today on this Blue Monday..standing up to the blahs of a dreary Monday. Thanks for changing my day today :D Hope your having a delightful day.

  5. It is wonderful how pansies manage to bloom in winter. You have captured that blue one in the snow beautifully.

  9. LORI LYNN,
    thank you,
and not to worry, I had a good Monday! :-)

    ALLIE,
I wish you a bright Tuesday,
whatever the sky looks like (grey here!).

    SUE,
seeing that Pansy in the snow made me want to kneel down and hug it, it was so cold and dreary out there.

  10. TUT-TUT,
    oh goodie, same here! :-)

    WANDERING STAR,
    they are amazing,
and warm my heart when I encounter them along an icy path.

    PHOTOWANNABE,
    it is amazing, isn't it,
    with so little light around,
    literally no reflections,
how these petals managed to shine.

    CHARLES GRAMLICH,
    thank you!

    FFF:
You express what I felt too!

    DAVID MCMAHON,
yes, delicate and yet so strong!

    KYLIE,
    welcome and thank you! :-)

  12. Pansies have been my favourite flower since I was a wee thing standing on the sofa to look at the windowboxes with the wee faces smiling back.
