abraham lincoln, thank you! I found the scene with the people watching the sunset quite enchanting.
Ilandavita, thank you! :-)
julie, isn't it amazing that one can swim in the Danube river, just like that? There were more swimmers out there, downriver. Yes, peaceful it was, but not cold at all. It was a very hot day's end, and the water temperature is quite comfortable this time of the year!
Great blog. Beautiful pictures. I can tell that you have worked with your photos and become an avid self learner. You really encouraged me with your comment in Debbies post. We were in Vienna on the Blue Danube River Cruise in May. Took the river tour with A~ROSA. Fantastic.
Wien ia eineentzueckende Stadt. Kann etwas romantischer sein als Mozart unter'm Regenschirm? Die Wolken mit Licht dahinter sind wunderschoen und die Donau bei dem Licht laesst mich sprachlos.
Very nice photographs. I like the one at the bottom with the people in it.

there are several bathing establishments along the good old Danube, luring you to stop and play. Or swim, for that matter. ;-)
