Hi Allison, coffee with Beethoven, a chocolate-pistacchio-nougat ball with Mozart, and a glass of Prosecco with Verdi, wouldn't that be fun? ;-) (I wonder which drinking songs we would sing??? *giggle*)
CATHY: Sitting in that beautiful garden, in the company of the Great One himself, I would drink anything too! :-)
FREEFALLING: Oh yes, I have seen that film, and loved it too! There's so much about the life of Beethoven, that is bitter-sweet, to say the least. Should you ever come to Vienna, you must plan at least half a day in his company, there are so many steps that can still be retraced, my favorite path's through the vineyards of Heiligenstadt.
Oh I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those choclate-pistacchio-nougat Mozart candies!! I bought and ate SO many of them last summer....and I'm not a big chocolate "nut"...oh are they delicious!! ~Allie
maalie, you sure that's not a foam-crested bird? ;-)
willow, coffee will be served shortly! :-) Have you had coffee at your Café Mozart? There's one even in Washington DC, btw! Never had coffee there, though. :-(
allie, I ate through many a bag of those temptations during my first pregnancy. Not only was my little girl born on Mozart's birthday, she's been a chocoholic since birth . ;-)
M.me Llama, maybe we should start planning a "Coffee with Beethoven" tour? ;-)
Would LOVE to have coffe with Beethoven.....or Mozart, or Verdi! I'm not a big coffe drinker but that cup looks quite inviting!

I'm sure I must have asked you this before, but have you seen the film "Immortal Beloved"?
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my favourites.

Well, there is a decent 'head' on that coffee :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, wait! Order me a coffee, too, please! What a perfectly charming spot. Even the sign is delightful. Funny, we have a Mozart cafe in our city! ;)
