High NoonAnd the best place in town,
May well be here,
Under the fountain,
Contemplating a dive into the pond!
No ClochardUnder the bridge,
Pigeons instead,
Trying to find some shade!
CommotionWhat commotion?
Go ahead,
Make my day!
Splash!Oh yes, and then,
No more words!
All I Want to DoIs sit
In the shade
And smell the roses!
I especailly love the ducks and the water.

The mallard appears to be undertaking her post-nuptial moult as she seems to have shed some tail coverts behind her.

she did what many of us would want to do when the heat becomes suffocating: Shed a few feathers! ;-)
