I am surprised you'd manage to rise even one peony, so far down South! What color?

  10. We've had a dearth of peonies here this year. Lovely to see yours. And happy belated birthday - glad it sounded like a good one.

    Thank you, Tara,
I enjoyed myself immensely for almost a week! ;-)

    ALLIE:
    Thank you! :-)
These are indeed a special kind of peonies, they bloom for about two weeks in a vase, and the perfume the living room with their wonderful fragrance. I love walking in there, being enveloped by that sweet perfume (btw, I surprised myself by mentioning my B-Day, must have been those Peony Fairies, I truly adore these flowers).

    SUSANVON:
I get these peonies from a farmer at Saturday's Yppen Market. They are a bit more expensive than the common ones, but well worth it (and still way cheaper than the 5 Dollar a head at the "social Safeway" in Georgetown).
