I left all but the last picture open to be enlarged by clicking on them, in honour of the beauty of these gardens. The last pictures will lead you to images of the grand Belvedere palaces and their more formal gardens. Of course, putting "Belvedere" in the blog's search window, will produce even more "Belvedere" posts. ;-) May you all enjoy a wonderful day!
wonderful garden !I think definetely even if it will not be anymore spring in Vienna but my next stop for new year's eve will be in this wonderful city. Thanks to you I felt in love
Mélanie , book your accomodations and concert and opera tickets NOW if you really plan to come here. The tickets sell out far in advance (should you change plans, they are always easy to resell). Every season has its own charm, I love Vienna year round, really.
Thanks to these incredible photos, which really look three dimensional - amazing, I really feel that I was there with you: can almost hear the birds singing and the buzzing of bees. Gorgeous.
Absolutely gorgeous! No words necessary here to describe this beautiful garden...the flowers are doing all the talking themselves...thank you for such a lovely post...
what a gorgeous garden, sugar! a real inspiration for me to do something about my small courtyard, even it all i can do is plant some pretty shade plants this weekend! xox
How beautiful! At first, I thought these were photos of your garden and I was so envious. I just yesterday planted scads of wildflower seeds in my back garden, but I doubt it will ever be as profuse as this!
Amazing photos - they make me want to take out my water colours! Unlike Simon, I am sitting at my mini-laptop - but will enjoy the big version when back at my office tomorrow!
Gosh, it is a wonder that you got any photography done. I would have just wanted to sit, in a corner, and drink it up until it got dark. But then again, I am quite easily distracted! Beautiful shots.
Isn't spring beautiful?! My favorite picture is the last one of the iron gate. It seems to invite you in to it's enchanting garden. Thanks for taking me on a lovely stroll through one of Vienna's many gardens today. Happy Friday! ~Allie
