I see skies of blue..... clouds of white
Bright blessed days....dark sacred nights
And I think to myself .....what a wonderful world.

Nothing but blue skies
ReplyDeleteDo I see
Bluebirds Singing a song
Nothing but bluebirds All day long
Doodly-doodly-dooooooo
Somebody's in Egypt by the river Denial...
Doodly-doo
Wonderful lyrics for the day's reflection!
ReplyDelete"Bright blessed days" isn't that beautiful?
ReplyDeleteIt's good to be alive (for some of us, not all!).
Sounds a bit corny, but have you see the shadow puppet to this song - it's amazing.
Just in case you haven't, it's here:

You really deserve the award that I have left for you on my blog.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful.
Wow, what a gifted photographer you are. Beautiful. And thanks for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo and wonderful words also! Glad that they named the airport in New Orleans after Louis Armstrong! Very talented man!

OH, super photo. And just loook at the window frame, I want one just like it!
ReplyDeleteMerisi,
ReplyDeleteThe cappuccino design, or ''latte art'' is a fantastic thing, and even though it looked easy when James made it, it sure does that skills. I definitely have to learn how to do it! :)
Gorgeous colors.
ReplyDeleteYou have invigorated my downtrodden soul.
Wonderful picture. I don't know how you do it but I am sure you must start with a very astute eye.
ReplyDeleteHow do you see these things? It's marvelous! I hear life, but they don't make a "camera" for that, and musical composition leaves only impressions.
ReplyDeletePARISBREAKFASTS,
ReplyDeleteone could go on forever, isn't it? :-)
SEAMUS,
I agree. :-)
BARBARA,
thank you! :-)
GONEBACKSOUTH,
thank you!
SUSANVON,
thank you!
Naming an airport was the least they could have done.
EXSHAMMICKITE,
they are beautiful, aren't they? ;-)
TEA,
I am sure you are gonna be a cappuccino maestra! :-)
CIPRIANO,
I am glad! ;-)
LINDA,
thank you! :_)
STEPH WALLER,
those things are to me like the Sirenes to Ulysses. ;-)
Love that song. Sarah Brightman sings a lovely version of it too on her Harem CD. Her recent concert in St. Stephen's in Vienna has been showing this month here on PBS stations...what a beautiful cathedral!
ReplyDeleteA reflection. A perfectly beautiful reflection!
ReplyDeleteYou didn't think I meant the words were corny, did you?
ReplyDeleteI meant shadow puppets.
Did you follow the link?
Sorry about your cold snap - I'll try to bring spring with me in a couple of weeks!
ReplyDeleteGreat song choice - my husband and I danced to this song for our first dance at our wedding. A timeless choice.
