On A Day Like This

I see skies of blue..... clouds of white
Bright blessed days....dark sacred nights
And I think to myself .....what a wonderful world.

  1. Nothing but blue skies
    Do I see
    Bluebirds Singing a song
Nothing but bluebirds All day long
    Doodly-doodly-dooooooo

Somebody's in Egypt by the river Denial...
    Doodly-doo

  3. "Bright blessed days" isn't that beautiful?
It's good to be alive (for some of us, not all!).
Sounds a bit corny, but have you see the shadow puppet to this song - it's amazing.
Just in case you haven't, it's here:

  8. Merisi,
The cappuccino design, or ''latte art'' is a fantastic thing, and even though it looked easy when James made it, it sure does that skills. I definitely have to learn how to do it! :)

  10. Wonderful picture. I don't know how you do it but I am sure you must start with a very astute eye.

  11. How do you see these things? It's marvelous! I hear life, but they don't make a "camera" for that, and musical composition leaves only impressions.

  13. Love that song. Sarah Brightman sings a lovely version of it too on her Harem CD. Her recent concert in St. Stephen's in Vienna has been showing this month here on PBS stations...what a beautiful cathedral!

  16. Sorry about your cold snap - I'll try to bring spring with me in a couple of weeks!

Great song choice - my husband and I danced to this song for our first dance at our wedding. A timeless choice.
