Tonight
Stepping out from Demel's,
and looking up at the awning,
I spied the new moon!
Moon over Michaelerplatz
Turning right,
the new moon was high over
the Imperial Palace's Michael's Tract.

Three minutes,
walking home:
Demel, the moon,
and a single beautiful tulip,
gracing a table
in a fine restaurant.
In Vienna.
Where else?
Hi, Merisi,
ReplyDeleteWe had a new moon too over London.
How nice that we're all watching the same moon.
My goodness, what loveliness . . .
ReplyDeleteThat moon looks much as it did in Girona last night :-)
ReplyDeleteWHOA!
ReplyDeleteSmashing, dramatic post Merisi!!!

Dear Merisi,
ReplyDeleteWhile drinking a cup of Turkish coffee I have been catching up with you. Each photo is exquisite.
Vienna is a marvelous city. Someday, maybe, I shall walk these streets. Until that time thank you for sharing your beautiful city.
Cheers,
Sherry
hmm, no moon here, just lots of falling snowflakes! That Michael's tract photo is wonderful.

I love the picture that shows the statue reaching for the moon. Very clever and that moon is so pretty. I like the tulip too. Very romantic.
ReplyDeleteI love your 'Moon Over Demel' shots. Love them! ;-)
