HEXE, that is my favorite image too. :-) Thank you, PHOTOWANNABE! :-) LORENZOTHELLAMA, believe it or not, I haven't had coffee at the Sacher. I would guess that it is not more expensive than many a venti at that chain (begins with "S" and ends with "s") a hundred feet across the street. BRITT-ARNHILD, I always love walking through Philharmonikerstrasse, on one side stately back of the Vienna opera house (those who have read Thomas Bernhard's "Wittgenstein's Nephew" will remember his choice of descriptive name for it *grin*), on the other the Sacher, ahead of me the Albertina palais and museum. TRACY, yes, undeniably Christmassy everywhere. I love Christmas in Vienna! :-)
Vienna at Christmas. Always felt like the place to go. I always play music from Vienna at Chritmas and videos over the years with the v arious artists that have done Christmas in Vienna.
Yes yes, I am the first one to follow you in streets, let's drink a good coffee in this famous place!
ReplyDeleteOh god. My dream is to go here. And to indulge in one perfect slice of Sachertorte and one perfect coffee. One day... sigh...
ReplyDeleteBRIDGET:
ReplyDeleteMaybe we should play nighthawks and go get a nightcap there?

AKITERISES:
Dreams do come true! :-)
Add me to list of people who dream of this place. I especially like the third shot and how it is framed. Someday . . .
ReplyDeleteI love the way we get little peeks and glimpses into the different windows. Its a clever way to show us your City.
ReplyDeleteHey that looks an expensive place!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't mind one of their big frothy ones with a cake or three!
