Nothing says Christmas like white lights. Every year my husband and I argue over the lights for the tree as he prefers the colored lights. By the photos, I guess you know the winner of that argument ;) Thanks for reminding me of the Christmas spirit.
Such a wonderful variety of Christmas displays. I love the palace courtyard, as well as the simple grapevine wreaths with white candles ... and white roses are always a celebration.
Bulgariana: Thanks! :-) I hope you had a great weekend.
hexe: Oh yes, white lights for me too, pleeease. :-)
smilnsigh: Thank you, Mari-Nanci. :-)
Debbie Egizio: I cannot get over the abundance and variety of holiday decorations here. ;-)
tlc illustration: The ball is always there, but at Christmas time it takes on a special flair together with the other seasonal lights.
Becca: Courtyards like this one become little island of silence and wonder when some streets are crowded.
Melissa: I like white flowers at Christmas time even more than during the rest of the year. Those reindeers are parading in a jewelry store window on Naglergasse, really fun to look at. :-)
Paz: I am glad about that! New York city has the effect on me at Christmas time.
Lori Lynn: Last year Dolce & Gabbana had an even larger spread of food on the table. I suspect they have some deal with Demel's around the corner on Kohlmarkt. :-)
These are all so lovely - you reqlly capture the season.
ReplyDeleteHave a very nice weekend :-)

ReplyDeleteLovely gathering of whites... Especially the first photo.

I love the first photo as well. Is that male-figure statue holding the lit ball always there or is he something seasonal?

ReplyDeleteLove all the whites in the photos, but I especially like the first photo with the lights. Very pretty. The reindeer photo is cute!
ReplyDeleteThis puts me in the holiday spirit. ;-)
