  1. Oh beautiful cold colours - it looks as if we have the same weather at the moment, frosty and chilly? The poor roses...

  3. Cold gusty winds, which at one moment stilled almost to a calm and the next were blowing strongly, brought us chilly air, but kept the clouds at bay. I was afraid the roses would be gone for good or already wrapped in burlap. i was overjoyed when I found them still out there and quite a few blooming.

  4. Savannah:
It was not too bad. I quite savoured the day after yesterday's snow. :-)

  5. At least some of your trees still have leaves on! I went away in Autumn and returned to find Yuletide adverts on the tv and festive lights in the streets of London!

  6. Maalie:
I feel lucky not to have to suffer through Jingle Bells yet!
Last year the Christmas lights here were not lit til the last November weekend.

  8. I am glad you like my little excursions through this magnificent town! :-)
I must admit that I am not yet too familiar with the places that were important to Schnitzler and Zweig, but I hope that one day I will.

  12. Vienna in autumn! One of these days I'll experience it... and I think your blog looks nice and clean without links/blogroll. Too busy a template detracts from the pictures, if that's what your blog is mostly about (and yours is!).

  16. Wien is really 'too' beautiful. ;))

I must take myself and camera down to St James's Park - the buildings there, mostly government ones, look quite fairytale - and post you a picture.

When I was walking around St Pancras on Sunday there was also a baby (probably a baby architect or engineer) sitting on the ground like that. I look forward to posting it.

    Creative synchrony.
