Oh beautiful cold colours - it looks as if we have the same weather at the moment, frosty and chilly? The poor roses...
ReplyDeleteit LOOKS brisk, sugar! i can almost feel the cold.
ReplyDeleteCold gusty winds, which at one moment stilled almost to a calm and the next were blowing strongly, brought us chilly air, but kept the clouds at bay. I was afraid the roses would be gone for good or already wrapped in burlap. i was overjoyed when I found them still out there and quite a few blooming.
ReplyDeleteSavannah:
ReplyDeleteIt was not too bad. I quite savoured the day after yesterday's snow. :-)
At least some of your trees still have leaves on! I went away in Autumn and returned to find Yuletide adverts on the tv and festive lights in the streets of London!
ReplyDeleteMaalie:
ReplyDeleteI feel lucky not to have to suffer through Jingle Bells yet!
Last year the Christmas lights here were not lit til the last November weekend.
It's really a magnific town!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pleasure to visit her (or it?)with you after Schnitzler and Zweig!
I am glad you like my little excursions through this magnificent town! :-)
ReplyDeleteI must admit that I am not yet too familiar with the places that were important to Schnitzler and Zweig, but I hope that one day I will.
Hello Merisi! I can read in realtime!!Oh you know,I just remember the Prater and an "athmosphere" but I'm happy to see that this town is still so beautiful, 100 years after!
ReplyDeleteIt looks very cold there. Snow so early in the year Its been cold enough here today to snow here.
ReplyDeleteCity Hall is just gorgeous! It does look cold like everyone has mentioned. It was warmer today here, it reminded me of springtime!
ReplyDeleteVienna in autumn! One of these days I'll experience it... and I think your blog looks nice and clean without links/blogroll. Too busy a template detracts from the pictures, if that's what your blog is mostly about (and yours is!).
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fairytale destination. I love the sky and clouds in the background.
ReplyDeletePaz
Perfectly beautiful shots Merisi!
ReplyDeleteThe air looks so crisp and clear...
You make Winterlook good :)
Grabbed my coat
ReplyDeleteput on my scarf
poured cocoa in a thermo
what a tour you give
as I sit here admiringly at my computer screen!
Wien is really 'too' beautiful. ;))
ReplyDeleteI must take myself and camera down to St James's Park - the buildings there, mostly government ones, look quite fairytale - and post you a picture.
When I was walking around St Pancras on Sunday there was also a baby (probably a baby architect or engineer) sitting on the ground like that. I look forward to posting it.
