  2. Yes I agree. I love the frosty leaf.
We had a clear blue sky today too. Probably a frost tonight. Hope so. Makes a change from the everlasting drizzle.

  3. The Incurable Insomniac:
Thank you. They air was chilly this morning, but I didn't expect frost in the Liechtenstein gardens. I hadn't noticed any while walking down the nearby Strudlhof Steps.

    lorenzothellama:
Let's hope for a clear night, beautifully frosted fall landscape and blue sky tomorrow in your part of the world!

    indicaspecies:
Plucky little flower, considering that temperatures do now fall to or near zero during nights. I think it is a stray clematis. Ginestra is also blooming nearby.

  4. Merisi,
Thank you for you comment and the funny picture! Hehehe. I am already satisfied with my new layout design, and I love the pink-grey combination ;)

  6. I love blue flowers. I have spent a small fortune accumulating porcelain table ware in the Ice Rose design of Wedgewood (now extinct).

  9. Doesn't that lavender know it's winter tomorrow?
I painted the bedroom at the country house this week - "blanket blue".
With earthy tones it looks awesome.

    That leaf looks so beautiful.
    I love a frost.
It's as close as we get to snow!

  10. No doubt you were taking a stroll around your Schonbrune Palace gardens while munching on a a bit of Viennoisserie - a strudel...

  11. TEA:
    You are welcome! :-)
    (Dear readers,
Tea is one of the Fairies, over at Demel's, click on her name, and have a look yourself!)

    MELISSA:
    Thank you!
It was such an unexpected sight there, on a chilly morning, with December just around the corner.

    MAALIE:
    Blue Rose,
interesting. I wonder why they chose to paint a blue rose. Do you know anything about the story?

    SONIA:
    Thank you! :-)

    CREAM:
    There's no clue, really,
in this post, just the season's wonders. :-)

Oh, I'd love to have a blue room!
That lavender is a splendid sight, I shall show more pictures.

    PARIS BREAKFAST:
Carol, the Strudlhof Steps are not exactly near Schönbrunn! :-)
No pastry, just me and my camera, walking through the chilly morning air, having a jolly good time.
