  1. You have done an early morning walk today and I have done a late afternoon stroll!
I love the photo of the tendril - the little woody tendril and the new green one.
I've just planted a brand new grape vine(ornamental). My last one died last year of a fungal disease - it was very sad - it was such a beautiful plant and gave us such fantastic shade on the front verandah in the heat of summer.

  4. As I am sitting here I am watching the first snow falling outside my studio window. It will not last though.....

I have been working in the garden all morning, but there is still so much to do.

  6. Mellow lovliness for the season. I like the close ups, especially of the tentrils. Great colours. Thanks for the tours :-)

I hope your new vine reaches great hights this summer! :-)

    Melissa:
    Thank you! :-)
There were only a few grapes left or forgotten on the vines. Harvesting has ended over a month ago.

    My Melange:
I must say I haven't had any bad wine since I arrived here two years ago, mostly very very good one. Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt are my favorites.

    Britt-Arnhild:
    Snow already? Unbelievable!
Keep yourself cozy and warm. :-)

    Sarah:
    Thank you!
I love visiting the vineyards any time of the year, but fall is my favorite season there.

    elizabeth:
    You are welcome!
I put another tendrils shot on the Strawberry Fields blog. :-)

    Maalie:
I stole one single blue berry, and I can assure you it was very sweet. :-)

  9. Grape vines are one of the most interestingly beautiful plants around, I believe. So many undulating organic shapes, and now colors too! as it approaches fall.
