ReplyDeleteoh never mind :)
Do umbrellas only come in blue??
What magnificent shades of blue!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all these blue shots. My Thursday was hot. I'm waiting for the Fall weather, which I prefer. Tomorrow, it is supposed to rain. I have a pink umbrella, not blue. ;-)
ReplyDeletePaz
My day? My week? FLAT out! and I have a headache.. BUT this afternoon I spend time on a boa in Sydney Harbour (smile)
ReplyDeleteI love rain, to walk or ride in it is the best!
A good day today. The weather was perfect and we bought new lamps for the living room. Rain forcast for later in the week.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I LOVE all those blue umbrellas together! It is a cold and rainy night here (it started as soon as the sun went down). I need thicker socks on. I'm trying to avoid turning on the heat, but I may not be able to hold out that long in the chilly studio. Time to bring the space heaters inside apparently...
ReplyDeleteDoes someone in Vienna have a monopoly on umbrellas? I was watching the Donau-Fritzi webcam today and saw more people with those blue umbrellas :) Or maybe blue is the "in" color for them right now?
ReplyDeleteMy day was wet as well. Rainy and humid.
ReplyDeleteBRIAN IN OXFORD:
ReplyDeleteOnly in blue?
Now, that is a question I need to take a time-out for. ;-)
PAZ:
Maybe, one fine day you'll carry that umbrella for me? ;-)
PARIS PARFAIT:
It's like a mind game: I tell myself I want blue. Everything turns blue. Sort of. ;-)
PHOTOWANNABE:
I desperately need/want a lamp for a corner table. So far no luck. I am too picky, I guess. :-)
SIMON:
I hope thereis space for lounge chairs on the boa in Sydney Harbour.
(Before I realised this was a case of a Freudian slip, I actually googled "boa": I was sure it must be Aussie for yacht or something else that swims and has a deck). *chuckle*
TLC ILLUSTRATIONS:
Tara, we have had on the heat, but the rain stopped and the sun came out this afternoon. Sunny and warm forecast for the coming days.
I hope you get a bit of Indian Summer too! :-)
MICAH:
Are you saying you didn't see my magenta and dark green tartan patterned umbrella? ;-)
There certainly are lots of blue umbrellas around. Maybe because they give the illusion of blue skies?
ANN:
I hope sunshine returned. Is it always humid in your parts or are the tradewinds blowing in some relieve as they do in Barbados?
I love rainy days - I'm sure it's just because we have so few here. I look at your photos with the rain and the umbrellas and I want to curl up with a good book and a hot drink in front of a fire. Unfortunately for me here, it's 90 plus and we have used our fireplace twice in ten years.
ReplyDeleteI have lived long enough in the South (infact, my whole adult life before coming to Vienna) to appreciate a rainy day. There may come days when they become too many in a row here, but for the moment I revel in them. Relieve of the stress of wanting to be outside is part of it. :-)
