Viennese Escapes: Tegernsee











Klosterschneideranwesen
Rose Garden of the Estate of the Monastery Taylor
Built 1678
Deeded to the taylor Georg Helfretsrieder in 1724
Located on Rosengasse (Rose Lane)
Town of Tegernsee (on the lake of the same name, in Bavaria)


Tegernsee is about one hour's drive west of Salzburg,
or 1 hour south of Munich, Bavaria.
A veritable jewel among the many beautiful lakes and towns
of the Alpine Regions Salzburg, Tirol (Austria)
and Upper Bavaria (Germany).

    These pictures were taken in the bright glare of early morning, and the fragrance of the roses was wafting everywhere. Unforgettable.

    Pink til the cows come home, so to speak. One would almost need to take a vacation (alone) to only photograph those roses. ;-)
