I'm not sure if I have asked you this before but - do you have any really ugly photos of Vienna? It is too, too beautiful and perfect (I don't mean to make that sound like it is a bad thing!). Is it like that everywhere in Vienna?
my melange: Thank you for the invite. Would you mind, if I, for your ears' sake, let you listen to some recorded music, "Sheep may safely graze", for example?
freefalling: To me, beauty is everywhere, I have a hard time saying something's ugly. I tried, and then, aiming my camera, what a first glance seemed ugly enough to qualify, turned into ... it's like with the frog you kiss ... ;-)
Delphine R2M: The beauty of the evening light here lets me pause every time. Then this lavender tinge when the sun's rays are only still reflected, as if things carry a distant the memory of the sun rays that just disappeared, I'd want to just disappear with it.
How quiet, calm and cool everything looks....

Such a beautiful light....
ReplyDeletesara, the house of charm: Yes, I love those evenings, as Baudelaire said in his Invitation au Voyage:
ReplyDeleteLà, tout n'est qu'ordre et beauté,
Luxe, calme et volupté.
There'll be nothing but beauty, wealth, pleasure,
With all things in order and measure.,
oftentimes right in front of your eyes, or a step out onto the balcony, as in this case. ;-)

Sometimes I'd want to vanish also when I spot incredibly silly mistakes after sending the comment into orbit. ;-)
